Appreciating Me Day

Today is Teacher Appreciation Day and I am loving it! This morning from my students I got some wonderful letters written by parents and kids (each made me a little teary!), fresh cut flowers, gift certificates, and Starbucks coffee. This was exactly what I needed today after our fabulous day in school yesterday which included two children throwing up and a bowel movement accident (these are some of the NOT so fun parts of teaching small children). It's so nice to know that people are noticing what you are doing.
